Description
Polyseal Swell is a single-component, waterexpandable, paste-like sealing compound with excellent physical properties. Polyseal Swell contains water-expandable polymers based on polyurethane that can expand to approx. 200 vol.% when in contact with water after it has fully cured. Polyseal Swell is used for sealing joints, sectional and reinforcing steels, precast panels, shafts, annular gaps, pipe lead-throughs etc. In addition it is used to underlay hydrophilic rubber profiles in the case of uneven subsurfaces.

Application
The surface must be dry, hard, stable, unsoiled and free of separating substances (grease, oil etc.). Polyseal Swell should be spread with pressure evenly onto the adherent area. We recommend the application of Polyseal Swell with a notched trowel Z1. Containers already opened should be used up as quickly as possible. The time for complete hardening depends on humidity and temperature. Time for complete hardening can be shortened by increasing temperature and humidity.
